Our Pathways and Programmes are tailored to fit your needs.

At Derwen College, we tailor our pathways and programmes to fit individual student needs. We are flexible and adaptive in our approach, making sure we meet the learning needs and requirements of all our students.

We are definitely not one-size-fits-all.

You may be looking for a full-time vocational route; or you might not be quite ready for a customer-facing programme. Our pathways are tailored to suit your needs.

We have our main campus in Gobowen, and three satellite sites across Shropshire at Ludlow, Telford and Walford.

As well as training in our high-quality on-site outlets, there are fantastic external work experience opportunities linked to each vocational area. These opportunities ensure you are well-prepared for the workplace when you leave college.

We also offer a Learning for Life programme for those young people whose planned outcome may not be work.

You might consider progressing onto one of our Supported Internships, following your vocational programme at Derwen College.

Your progression at Derwen College will be unique to you, personalised to your needs, your learning and your skills.

Be ready to have fun, make new friends and learn new skills.

Not looking for a vocational route?

Our Nurture programme offers students with with complex learning difficulties (CLD), or profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) a specially designed two-year course. The programme is highly personalised for each student, and includes tailored therapy support.
