Do you dream about taking part in the London Marathon?
Towards the end of 2024, Derwen College entered 2026–29 TCS London Marathon New Charity Bond Scheme ballot.
We were absolutely delighted to be awarded with one Silver Bond. This allows us to have two charity entries per year in the London Marathon for four years.
Our first year to participate will be 2026.
Each year, we will invite staff, students and their families, key stakeholders and members of the local community to apply for a spot for the London Marathon 2026.
All we ask for, in return for your spot, is that you do a spot of fundraising to support our charity and help raise awareness of this wonderful college and our students who achieve so much.
Entries to the 2026 ballot closed at midnight on Sunday 16 March 2025.
The ballot will be drawn in the reception of Derwen College (Gobowen campus) at 3pm on Monday 17 March.
Places for the 2027, 2028 and 2029 London Marathon will launched early in 2026, 2027 and 2028 consecutively.
